Over the years, SKLLR has been playing an important role in fostering exchange of knowledge/expertise and sharing of updated research information in liver studies through: 

• Organizing yearly SKLLR Symposium which open to professional & scientific communities
• Organizing various seminars/talks on different topics related to new development in liver research
• Establishing long-term collaborations and effective platforms for in-depth scientific discussion with research institutes in the field (e.g. Shanghai Cancer Institute, Eastern Hepatobiliary Surgery Hospital of Shanghai, State Key Laboratory of Oncology in South China, Second Military Medical University, etc.)
• Bringing together the multi-disciplinary research teams to share and discuss their updated research projects through Annual SKLLR Internal Research Meetings
• Delivering keynote speeches and invited talks at international conferences (e.g. International Liver Cancer Association (ILCA) Annual Conference, Asian Pacific Association for the Study of Liver (APASL) Annual Meeting, etc.) 
• Being members of editorial boards of high-impact journals (e.g. Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Liver Transplantation)

   

• Being members of International Association Committees (e.g. Council member of Asia-Pacific Primary Liver Cancer Expert Association; International Liver Cancer Association, etc.)
• Publishing research papers, journal editorials, commentary, and review articles published in high-impact journals (e.g. New England Journal of Medicine, Nature Genetics, and Lancet oncology, Gastroenterology)
